Owner
My name is Terry Hillis I have lived in Middle Tennessee my entire life. In 2006, I decided to flip a house and discovered I found enjoyment in doing this kind of work. For the next few years, I went on to flip more houses, as well as doing a variety of work on the side for friends and family, all while maintaining a full-time job. In 2014, I decided to quit my job and devote my time to opening a handyman business. Now with Handy Resolutions LLC, I get to do what I love and help people repair and remodel their homes.

I can highly recommend Handy Resolutions LLC! Reliable, Trustworthy, and he does fabulous work! He replaced our old windows with energy efficient slide out - easy to clean windows, installed a pull down attic ladder, and fixed a wall that had water damage.

We highly recommend Handy Resolutions. Terry and his team did a great job on four projects. We are completely satisfied with their craftsmanship, attention to detail and just being very easy to work with. They are equipped with the tools and skills to accomplish many tasks. They were on time every day and cleaned up completely at the end of each day’s work. Ideas on how to achieve the look we wanted were exchanged and Terry always understood quickly and worked hard to provide what we wanted.
We quickly became comfortable having the guys on our property. They were always friendly, courteous, and easy to engage. We will be having Handy Resolutions back in the spring for some exterior paint work. More potential projects in the future for these guys. You’ll like them and their work as much as we do!

I had Terry referred to me by a work associate. I had talked to some others he did jobs for and heard nothing but good things. He built two sets of built-in bookcases and a storage closet for me. I think he underbid on the bookshelves for the quality and design he put into it. I could have done the work but it would not have been to the standard he produced. He has better tools and experience. I was worried about the weight of my book collection. He doubled up the wood ¾ inch birch.
The shelves look great and don’t sag as I was worried they might. He did all the planning and trim work to match. Even put a level to all the work. If I had built them it would have looked like an electrician had built the bookcases.
I find him to be highly skilled, good communication (just tell him what you want) dependable and trustworthy. Also, I like him and would hire him again.

So excited for my new back-splash, new cabinet colors and new hardware in my kitchen! Handy Resolutions LLC installed the back-splash and new hardware for my cabinets, along with new plugs and light fixtures. I recommend Terry for any home improvement needs. He gets the job done right, every time.
